OUTFOXED!

"Outfoxed" examines how media empires, led by Rupert Murdoch's Fox News, have been running a "race to the bottom" in television news. This film provides an in-depth look at Fox News and the dangers of ever-enlarging corporations taking control of the public's right to know.

The film explores Murdoch's burgeoning kingdom and the impact on society when a broad swath of media is controlled by one person.

This documentary also reveals the secrets of Former Fox news producers, reporters, bookers and writers who expose what it's like to work for Fox News. These former Fox employees talk about how they were forced to push a "right-wing" point of view or risk their jobs. Some have even chosen to remain anonymous in order to protect their current livelihoods. As one employee said "There's no sense of integrity as far as having a line that can't be crossed."

"As Rupert Murdoch's 'war on journalism' hits new lows, droves of disgruntled employees are confessing their many misdeeds, brought upon by the systematic oppression they faced at FOX News. Watch how FOX executives dictate their bias by forcing reporters to follow memos that predetermine "what they could say and how they could say it."

Rupert Murdoch has decided that the best approach to journalism is to parade opinions dressed-up as News. The reason is simple: No one can disprove an opinion, and therefore, credibility is easier to maintain. Should they ever get caught lying, the legal process affords them protection under the First Amendment.

This is just a fun little video I had so many laughs watching. George Galloway is interviewed by a woman on Sky News and points out the hypocrisy of Rupert Murdoch news reporting. He also speaks the truth about Israel, Lebanon and Hezbollah. Sky News is the Fox equivalent in England.

I just can't get enough of this guy. He doesn't give a shit about being invited back or not, he's just speaking the truth. You have to respect a man like this.

This one is kind of off subject, but god damn he hits home.

  1. I probably would be more likely to believe that the media is controlled by the government...if it werent for Fox news - the one station that has a different point of view. They are the one network that is against the current administration. If I were you, I'd be trying to answer the question "Why is Fox news the 1 station that is different?"
Why wasn't fox news on the Obama bandwagon like the rest of the networks? All the other networks are free, but fox is controlled? And when I watch your video of people at fox news saying this and that, I wonder why they didn't include clips about the other networks. I guess they are like you and want to make sure people only get half of the information and only one side of the story. I can't believe you consider some of this stuff "proof" of anything. Yeah it's a conservative network and they try to make sure it stays that way. Now put up a bunch of clips about how the other networks are liberal and do what it takes to stay that way. Or do I have to do that, so you can remove it later?

  2. Fox news is against the current administration.
The other news networks are fans of the current administration.
That means a)Fox should be your favorite station and b)the media is not controled by the government.

And by the way, if you say the media is controlled - I agree with you. (it's controlled by whoever owns the station, controlled by the viewers, and controlled by the advertisers.
If you say it's controlled by the government, logic just starts getting in the way. You can view networks in other countries that actually ARE controlled by their goverenments and notice a big difference.

  3. See Kevin what you don't seem to understand is that the whole left right paradigm is an illusion. Republicans and Democrats are all the same, they're all politicians working for the same money. The same special interests (corporations, banks) fund their campaigns and lobby so they get laws passed in their favor. We the people have no representation anymore because the politicians are looking out for the corporations and not the people. Remember no taxation without representation? The whole tea party thing?

This fascist 2 party system is set up to give us the illusion that we have choice and to split us up and keep us busy discussing meaningless Democrat vs Republican issues and policies, which takes our attention and focus away from the real people who control government and the real issues and policies. Naturally there has to be a network that supports each party to satisfy the people. Republicans don't want to watch liberal bullshit and Democrats don't want to watch conservative bullshit. Fox can't dramatically switch and support a Democratic viewpoint now. How would that look? Don't you think people would notice and they would loose viewers? During the whole last administration they supported the Bush administration, Murdoch admitted that. During the elections, they supported Pailin and McCain and the Republicans and were against Obama. You seriously expect them to magically do a 180 and give Obama unconditional love? Everyone knows they are a network for Republicans, just like CNN for Democrats.

You wonder why this movie doesn't include clips from other networks? That is because this is a movie that is just about Fox and the Rupert Murdoch empire. DUH! You're not smart enough to figure that out? Jeez Kev, I really can't believe your moronic questions. Look it my other post on the media, I provide extensive information on other networks.

  4. So you do admit finally that the media is controlled by whoever owns the station and advertisers. Yay, we've reached a point. The viewers? Don't make me laugh. Do you control them? No. I sure don't. The advertisers have heavy pull in the government because they fund campaigns of politicians. This merger of corporate and government is called Fascism or more properly corporatism, as Mussolini said. Besides them, the CIA is embedded in every major news organization, as Jesse Ventura, the former director of the CIA William Colby and many other CIA agents, government officials and whistle blowers admitted. Operation Mockingbird was a declassified CIA operation that specifically controlled the news and still does. Look it up! It's fact! But I forgot, you ignore facts.

And you also seem to think that government controlled media only happens in other countries. Your ignorance is simply laughable. What's even more laughable is that you have an inability to learn anything. You can't absorb proven factual information. I've been spoon feeding you facts for months and you don't learn. Everything I'm saying here is fact and you can look it up, but you won't because you don't want to be proven wrong, so therefore you remain ignorant as shit. It's pathetic that a grown man like yourself has the brain of a 4 year old. I'm certain now that all those years of smoking weed every day has made you severely retarded and stunted your brain growth. If you don't read books, if you don't keep your brain stimulated, in other words if you don't exercise your brain, you will remain stagnant. If you couple that with mind numbing pot and prescription meds, you will regress and dumb down severely because you don't do anything to combat the neurological brain damage they cause over time. I can tell you that as fact because I studied neurology and developmental psychology. It's just like if somebody doesn't exercise their body, they will turn fat and flabby. It's not rocket science.

You have all these questions, but when I answer them with FACTS, you ignore them. Why ask questions at all? I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but a researcher who reads details about events. You on the other hand are a coincidence theorist!

The definition of delusional is: A false belief strongly held in spite of invalidating evidence, especially as a symptom of mental illness: delusions of persecution.

You by definition are delusional my friend. Do you want to change that or remain that way? It's up to you.
